Welcome to my new site

This is the first post on my rebuilt personal site. 🎉

I tore down the old hand-coded HTML page and rebuilt everything with Jekyll and the Minimal Mistakes theme, so the whole site is now written in plain Markdown.

Why? Because writing should be the easy part. To publish a new post now, I just drop a Markdown file into the _posts/ folder — like this one (_posts/2026-06-04-welcome.md) — and it shows up here automatically.
